Diamond Valley artist group, Thou Art Mum, are presenting their latest exhibition 'Scarlet Stories, An Exploration of the Colour Red' at Long Gallery, Montsalvat in April.

This group exhibition will showcase the works of 37 talented Diamond Valley artists and will be open for viewings from 20th April to 15th May 2016.

The exhibition explores the emotive colour of 'red', as a symbol throughout culture and history, a celebration of life and our oldest known pigment. Artistic disciplines will range from painting, drawing and illustration, to collage, sculpture, mosaic and photography.

Thou Art Mum note that the need for artistic expression during motherhood is powerful and this diverse showcase of mediums and the colour red is sure to fascinate.

The wider public are also welcome to visit the Opening Night event on 21st April, from 6.30pm to 8.30pm. The exhibition will be officially opened by local artist Linda MacAulay and artworks will be available to purchase on the night. Light refreshments will also be served. If you would like to attend the Opening Night event, please RSVP here.
