Scarborough Originals presented by East Coast Originals
The
East Coast Originals run monthly music festivals in Queensland - held in three different locations on either a Saturday or a Sunday. The passion behind an 'original' event is to create the scene, support music and art and develop original talent throughout the East Coast of Australia. As mentioned, there are currently three events in different locations happening every month on the East Coast, but for now I'll whet your appetite with one, the
Scarborough Originals.
Scarborough Originals is held every month, from February to December, on the first Saturday of every month at Jamieson Park in Scarborough, on the Redcliffe Peninsula. Alas, that means we've missed the April one, but can definitely diarise all the dates from May, ensuring we don't miss out on the future ones.

This monthly event is funded through the local community and their contributions.
Mon Komo Hotel, the East Coast Originals and
99.7 Bridge FM all play host to the
Scarborough Originals event, with local businesses and groups supporting this very popular event through donations and prize contributions. The
Scarborough Originals events are
FREE entry with raffles and donations powering every event. Your contribution, no matter how big or small, ensures the continuation of these not-for-profit events.
What can I look forward to at Scarborough Originals?

In the event of rainy weather, the
Scarborough Originals will be moved to Mon Komo Hotel, the major supporter/sponsor of the
Scarborough Originals. Please keep an eye out on
Scarborough Originals Facebook page here, for any changes to venue due to bad weather.
The good news is that our furry family members are welcome at the
Scarborough Originals too, provided they are on a lead. Please note that drinking of alcohol is not permitted on public land.
