Scarborough Christmas Carols 2012

I enjoy writing about music and cultural events in our city, reviews are my specialty
Tonight at Scarborough, the annual Scarborough Christmas Carols (previously Carols by the Clocktower) is commencing at 7pm and finishing at 9pm with a huge fireworks display. Plus there will be a special visit from Santa, who arrives along the beach and then joins in with the singing on stage. It is a wonderful family event.

Started in 1994, I have never missed one personally and always look forward to a lovely night on one of our beautiful beaches with great singing, dancing and of course, the fireworks on the beach.

So bring your family, bring your picnic blankets and bring your singing voices! For those who brave the water, don't forget jumpers for later in the night!

What makes this event even more special is that money raised from the sale of candles goes to a worthy charity.
