Scandinavian Festival brings cultural fun to Bowen Hills
Australia prides itself on being a multi-cultural nation and with that embraces people from all backgrounds and nationalities who wish to call Australia home.
On Sunday 9th September 2018, The Scandinavian Festival will be bringing you a unique opportunity to become acquainted with the people and culture of many Brisbane Scandinavian residents. The festival will be celebrated in Perry Park, 34 Folkstone Street, Bowen Hills from 10.00 am to 4.00pm. Entry is a $2.00 gold coin.

There will be plenty of fun for the whole family, with kids being catered for with a range of traditional activities such as a Lego Playroom, a Viking Painting Studio, Swedish Floor Ball and much more. Live entertainment including folk-dancers, fiddle groups and traditional music will be seen on stage. A huge assortment of traditional Scandinavian food and drinks along with a historic tale or two from Saga Vikings who will share their stories for the delight of all. You will not be disappointed with over 60 market stalls, sporting activities and real Vikings, as well as the festival's yearly raffle where great prizes donated by sponsors could see you walking away very happy.
