A Scandinavian Bazaar which is run with food and goods
On the 30th November and 1st December 2019, the traditional and the most popular Scandinavian Christmas Bazaar will be run in the gardens surrounding Toorak House. The address for this event is Swedish Church, 21 St Georges Road, Toorak.
This event has become the highlight and start of Christmas for many locals and they often get a huge crowd here. There will be crafts, entertainment, food and drinks and there will be food which can be eaten there or you can actually take it home.
Their website has the following on it: "You haven't been to a bazaar until you have been to the Scandinavian Christmas Bazaar!"
At the stalls there will be as follows:
Wander around the vendor stalls and find out what Scandinavia is famous for - design, textiles, handicrafts, glassware and more!
There will be some incredible gifts and, as mentioned, some stunning Christmas decorations imported from Scandinavia.
You will also be able to try a delicious variety of Scandinavian foods like Norwegian waffles, Danish hotdogs, Swedish cakes and open sandwiches, just to name a few.

There will be some live music – the artists and program will be announced soon.
Childrens' corner will have a jumping castle, a mini zoo and glitter tattoos.
You will be able to win a trip for two economy return flights to Stockholm with better seats between Asia and Helsinki. There will be a five days rental Car Hire to experience Sweden safely and in real luxury. This will be provided by Finnair, Altitude Prestige Direct and The Swedish Church in Melbourne.
The second prize is a Classic Voyage South with Hurtigruten. Kirkenes to Bergen. This will be a six days and five nights trip. It will include an unspecified Polar Outside cabin including full board two people sharing and it will be provided by 50 Degrees North.

There is also going to be a Church service on Sunday 9. 00 am in the garden.
Admission into the bazaar is free, but they would be very pleased if you could offer a gold coin donation on entry.
