Calling all little reptile lovers.

The Scales and Tails Reptile Expo is on at the Brisbane Exhibition Showgrounds on 20 March 2016.

If you're interested in buying, exhibiting or just browsing the scaley sights, come along to this reptilian day out.

Hosted by Scales and Tails Australia , there will be reptile displays, demonstrations and reptiles for sale, specialist veterinarians, product stalls, book shops, raffles, and for the littlies fairy floss, face painting, balloons. Food will be available for sale at the expo.

Don't forget to check out the entrants in the Best in Show competition and judge for yourself which reptile is your favourite.

Reptiles on the Qld Commercial List are generally available for purchase by the public, however it will depend on the reptiles brought along by the breeders to see what is available at the expo.

Note, it is not possible to bring your own reptiles along for a day out unless you have previously contacted the organisers and arranged it. For those interested in displaying reptiles or having a product stall, email the organisers at [email protected] for details but get in quick, there is a deadline, after which the organisers may not accept additional reptiles for display due to logistics.

The Scales and Tails Reptile Expo is on Sunday 20 March 2016 at the Brisbane Showgrounds, 600 Gregory Terrace, Bowen Hills. Entry is $10 for adults and $5 for children. Tickets are available at the door. See their Facebook page for regular updates.

If you're a reptile lover then you don't want to miss this expo - the next one is scheduled for 2018 so there's a long wait in between.
