Today I was surprised and delighted by the quirky menu at Sayers cafe in Leederville.

The staff are friendly and are passionate about the food they sell and are all too happy to explain what each delicious pastry and cake has inside.

I picked the honeycomb affogato and was pleasantly surprised. The ice cream swam in a deliciously caramel coloured coffee liquid and had honeycomb crumbled like golden dust.

The atmosphere was relaxed but homey, and left me feeling intrigued as to the other foods on offer at this delightfully lit cafe.

I visited the cafe in the later stage of the evening, which allowed for a beautiful afternoon glow that enveloped the cafe.

The afternoon ended with a tasty alternative to the perfect affogato.
