Learn how to contribute to protecting and conserving these cute and cuddly marsupials



Come along to Mary Cairncross Scenic Reserve for a motivational community workshop where the workshop organisers are excited to share their important findings from recent koala conservation efforts on the Sunshine Coast.



The Saving Sunshine Coast Koalas’ workshop will showcase the UniSC Detection Dogs for Conservation, who have been very busy conducting koala thermal drone surveys as well as koala poop collections - sounds like fun! Through a detailed discussion of the survey results and the scat analyses, participants will gain a deeper understanding of the current state of koalas across the Sunshine Coast and learn how we can all contribute to protecting and conserving these cute and cuddly marsupials.



The Saving Sunshine Coast Koalas Workshop is a FREE event and with capped numbers, registration is essential.
