Each year Save the Children hold their huge second hand Book Sale at the University of WA. This has been an annual event now for 52 years and helps raise much needed funds to support emergencies and programmes both in WA, Australia and overseas. This year they have 4,000 boxes of books ready for sale at amazing prices and in excellent condition. Many categories for sale including paperback novels, animals, children's, reference, religious, biography, history, gardening and much, much more. They also sell CD's, DVD's, sheet music and vinyl records.



The sale runs from Friday afternoon to Wednesday afternoon and is an event not to be missed. Tuesday and Wednesday the books are even cheaper, so you can grab a whole box for just $15 on Wednesday.



Even if you are not an avid reader, this is an event not to be missed as it is amazing to see such a varied range of books (other than in a library) on sale in one Hall. So, note the dates in your diary and help disadvantaged children at the same time.
