Fight Against Loneliness

You may or may not have heard of Chatty Cafe , but they are hugely instrumental in the fight against loneliness in your community. With a significant demand for the services not just by the elderly, but the young as well. They are at a critical juncture and need your support now more than ever. Currently there are 230+ venues and volunteers who offer services to the significantly increased social demands. Funding is needed urgently from Corporate and Philanthropic Partners and/or donations to help keep them chatting in 2025. The need for meaningful social connections within our communities has never been greater. Loneliness is a silent epidemic tearing our communities apart, leaving countless individuals feeling isolated and invisible. Chatty Cafe's mission is to combat this isolation by creating opportunities for people to connect, share, and find a sense of belonging. If you're interested in joining Chatty Cafe as a volunteer, register your interest here . Chatty Cafe need 'Zoom Hosts' as well. Their Chatty Online Zoom is taking a break because they're looking for one or two Chatty Volunteers to share hosting weekly Online Zoom sessions. If that's you, see here for details.
