A sunday morning routine recommendation
Satchi Patisserie is a nice posh looking coffee shop. It is fairly new to Brimbank Shopping Centre. When you step in, you think of it as an ideal take away coffee shop. However, there are tables and chairs and a variety of sandwiches on display. Being a fairly new place in the neighbourhood, they have some samples, which you can munch on while you place your order.
While I ordered a mocha and my partner ordered a cappuccino, we tried the toasted olive bread. We landed up buying a loaf to take home. And the coffee was just as good!
Their gourmet sandwiches and breads are baked fresh and the aroma of the place is wonderful. They have a decent variety of pastries as well; the chocolate croissant got my attention - I would have loved to try it, if not for my love handles!
The combination of chutneys and jam flavours looked interesting and the colours were so vibrant. I even got an idea to serve them up with some bread and cheese as finger food for my next party.
