I first saw Sarah Millican on television, when she was a guest on Michael McIntyre's Comedy Roadshow. She is a very approachable comedian because she is not afraid to make fun of herself. She also gets her material based experiences that we all recognise from our own lives. I particularly enjoy her Radio Times Features, that so often give little jabs at reality tv programmes such as The X-Factor, or relate to her own cooking disasters, which seemed to work so well on The Great British Bake Off.
Her previous tours, Chatterbox and Thoroughly Modern Millican were a big success and are now available on DVD.
Her next tour, Home Bird, is due to start in September 2013. Why announce it so early? Because tickets sell out really quickly. In fact, the first dates have already been fully booked. If you would like to see Sarah Millican live rather than just on the small screen at home, then it is a good idea to buy tickets now. As her jokes contain mature content, it is only suitable for 16-18 plus, depending on the venue. Tickets are £28.
