Sapore, a modern Italian restaurant, is a perfect venue for your upcoming wedding. It is located in Fitzroy Street within St Kilda and directly opposite the Catani Gardens and St Kilda Beach.

Sapore operates as a restaurant, however, it also caters for
functions and weddings. It features ground level dining options and an upstairs area which can also serve guests who require smaller private function rooms.
Sapore has three options for functions. Upstairs there is the
St Kilda Private Dining Room which seats a maximum of 18 guests for dinner.
The other upstairs option for larger functions is the
St Kilda Bayview Room, which offers an open space with views of the bay and seating 48 for dinner or 75 for a cocktail function. It is an open area, which you enter across a walkway overlooking the main restaurant below. I'm told that in inclement weather this room and walkway has hosted wedding ceremonies.

The downstairs main dining room can also be hired exclusively and caters for 65 guests (seated) or 90 for a stand up cocktail party.
There are a variety of
function menus to choose from which are updated seasonally and
an extensive wine menu, or you can let the Sommelier select appropriate wines based on your budget.
Sapore is first class in assisting you in the organisation of your wedding reception. From the moment you visit to view the various function rooms available, they assist you in every way. The extremely reasonably priced set menus cater for two or three courses. Our guests had plenty of food available and raved about the meals and sensational staff. There are also options listed for those who have different dietary needs.
