Meet Santa and see his magical Christmas parade at Karrinyup
Santa Claus is coming to Karrinyup! To celebrate, Karrinyup Shopping Shopping Centre is holding a magical Christmas parade to mark the start of the Christmas season and provide a warm welcome to Santa on Saturday, 3 November 2018.
Beginning in the Fresh Food Mall at 10am, Santa and his cohort of colourful Christmas characters, along with local dance troupes and stilt walkers, will parade through the centre, finishing up in front of Karrinyup's mesmerising 10.5 metre Christmas tree. It is here that Santa will settle into his sleigh, ready for Santa Photography, commencing at 11am.
Free Christmas face painting will run in Centre Court following the parade from 11am to 2pm.
Santa will be available for meet and greets and each day in the lead up to Christmas. In the spirit of giving, each child that visits Santa will receive a free Christmas plush toy (while stocks last.)

There will also be an express 'Letters to Santa' service for a $2 donation to the CREATE Foundation, a national agency dedicated to supporting children living in care.
Children can write a letter to Santa, enclose the donation, drop it in to the red post box in Centre Court and receive a reply from Santa himself. This service will commence on Friday, 2 November and conclude on Monday, 17 December 2018.
Other upcoming Christmas activities include Karrinyup's annual Santa Stocking Appeal with The Salvation Army, in which you can make food, gifts and monetary donations from Saturday, 1 December. The external lights display will also launch on this date.
The parade is free to watch, although there are costs involved for the Santa Photography, which you can view here.
If your child is desperate to catch a glimpse of Santa well before Christmas, this is one parade to get along to for a bit of festive fun and family entertainment.
