Santa's Arrival Parade @ Macquarie Centre

You've probably noticed that the Christmas decorations are starting to pop up here and there. Well, Santa is about to follow. He will be at the Macquarie Shopping Centre from Saturday November 17 and he is arriving in style. In fact, there will be an entire parade to mark the event.

Starting at 10.30am in the Loft on level four (the highest point in the centre, near JB Hi-Fi), Santa will wind his way down to the Centre Court on level one, which will be his home until Christmas. Santa will be accompanied on the parade by Rudolph the Reindeer, Frosty the Snowman, a Christmas polar bear, a toy soldier rabbit and a marching band. At the end of the parade, there will be a live Christmas show.

Kids will be able to start having their photos taken with Santa from around 12.00pm on the day. For the next month, he will be available for photos from 10.00am to 4.00pm daily, and until 8.00pm on Thursdays. From Monday December 17 to Friday December 21, these hours will be extended so that he is available from 10.00am to 7.00pm. On Saturday December 22 and Sunday December 23 he will be there from 9.00am to 6.00pm and on Monday December 24, the last chance for you to get your photos before he has to head off to complete his Christmas run, Santa will be at the centre from 9.00am to 4.00pm.

Every child who visits him during these times will receive a free gift.
