Christmas wouldn't be complete without a trip to see Santa; watching their children's faces light up is a parents' pleasure. This year we will be taking ours to Santaland at Myer in the city. Just like the magical movie, The Polar Express, children can pick up a golden ticket from the station master and hop onboard a train for a tour of Santaland Village; complete with a tunnel, flashing crossway, and rail signals.

Upon disembarking, they can visit Santa and his red-nosed reindeer Rudolph, tell him their Christmas wishes, have a photo taken (optional), and receive a special gift. There are also interactive games and activities for all ages at Santaland. And don't forgot to post their letters to Santa in the special mailbox.

Santaland is open during store hours until Christmas eve. Click here for more information.

The train ride is suitable for kids 82.5 cm to 122 cm high.

While you're at Myer, have a look at their wonderful Christmas window displays inspired by the Christmas carol Santa Claus is Coming to Town.
