In partnership with Pier One Sydney Harbour, Los Angeles' premier beachside city will transform our renown harbour pier into an interactive area for six weeks only. Sydney-siders and visitors will enjoy the feeling of being in the rich, happy Santa Monica life. And at the same time, you can still soak up breathtaking views of our own delightful and interesting Sydney Harbour.
This function has already started and will continue until 31st October 2019. The riveting and exhilarating venue will feature Southern California-style foods and drinks from award-winning chefs, free wellness and fitness experiences, an organic mini- farmers market and live music sunset sessions.

WHAT'S ON Santa Monica x Gantry Chefs Tables The Gantry restaurant at Pier One is exclusively giving a once in a lifetime dinner experience! There will be three greatly acclaimed chefs and this will be in a relaxed Pier side area.
These chefs are as follows:
Santa Monica Chef royalty Josiah Citrin - Josiah is a two-star Michelin Chef and owner of Santa California's highly-acclaimed Mélisse, Charcoal Venice, Openaire and Dave's Doghouse restaurants
Chef Raphael Lunetta - who is the top chef judge and owner and chef proprietor at Lunetta and Lunetta All Day
Chef Govind Armstrong - also of Top Chef and Iron Chef fame. He is the executive chef of Santa Monica icon The Lobster, and the chef behind 8oz Burger Bar and Post and Beam
These chefs will all collaborate with The Gantry Head Chef Thom Gorringe from One Hat Good Food Guide, Electrolux Young Chef of the Year 2017. They will showcase the best of NSW seasonal produce at this harbourside view. They will invent a menu encouraged by the waterside aspects of life on the Pier, and this will take you from the Santa Monica coast to Sydney Harbour.
Each Chef has prepared two new dishes that indicate their personal style, using fresh, simple and market-driven cuisine. These mouthwatering inspired menus will show us the food that is now a seasonal culinary style that each chef invents and brings to our table. The last event is on 16th October 2019 at the Gantry Restaurant, 11 Hickson Road, Sydney.
Saturday ROGA will be held at 8.00 am on 26th October. This is actually a run plus yoga session and is a real favourite fitness challenge enjoyed by heaps of Santa Monica locals each spring and summer.
During Santa Monica at Pier One Sydney, Sydneysiders can take now take up the ROGA challenge. This will be thanks to the partners at Lululemon, and the session will start with a 2.5km jog or run from Luna Park to Santa Monica at Pier One.
When you actually arrive, you will be very peaceful and restored by Lululemon's top yoga instructors. This last venue is for all levels and you can buy your tickets at this link.
The teacher for this session is Sam Rooney who has worked with people from all walks of life. Sam is an accredited exercise physiologist and has had about 10 years of experience in the industry.
SUNDAY FARMERS MARKETS
Santa Monica's food scene is identified with farm-to-plate freshness and this is thanks to four-weekly farmers markets. These are actually considered to be among the best on the west coast.
In conjunction with Visit California, Santa Monica at Pier One Sydney Harbour brings you a fabulous certified organic mini-farmers market. Here there will be free cooking demonstrations from some award-winning chefs and this will give you a real idea of how to make your own Southern Californian inspired meals at home. These meals will feature very-fresh produce, beautiful cut flowers, bread, delicious foods and there will even be some relaxing live music.
The Farmers Market will take place Sunday 6th and 13th October from 10.00 am until 2.00 pm.
