If you're looking for something different to do with the kids this yuletide, head over to Darling Harbour, which will come alive with the sights and sounds of the silly season. Their 30 Days of Fun with will kick off Santa Fest on November 24th, a water spectacular that will see the area transformed into a sea of Santas (literally), with jolly red and white clad men popping up all over the place throughout the evening's activities.
The event is set to be the biggest Santa party that the harbour has ever seen, and will feature a host of unmissable activities, including a Santa parade, the arrival of Santa on a vintage 1930s boat, the chance to win early Christmas presents in a kids colouring-in competition, Santa water skiers, a Santa sky skier, Christmas floats and pyrotechnics, ending with the top-secret lighting of the Darling Harbour Christmas tree and Christmas a huge fireworks finale.

[ADVERT]With Darling Harbour's Christmas festivities well and truly launched in style, the fun will continue with a month of regular scheduled events and activities. This will include a capella carols, fireworks, Christmas karaoke and special performances by the Sydney Youth Orchestra. Plus, on Sunday 25 November, the children's charity Variety will host the fourth annual Santa Fun Run. Anyone can join in and be a 'Clause for a Cause' by registering via Variety's website, or at the Santa Fest Water Spectacular on 24 November.
