On the weekend of 12 and 13 November, local artist Sandy Jacka is opening the doors to her private studio in North Turramurra.All are welcome to come down between 10 am and 4 pm daily to meet Sandy and peruse a beautiful display of functional wares, bonsai, ikebana and sculptural pieces. This is a special opportunity to explore Sandy's artistic process and discover what inspires her unique wares.Sandy will also have a selection of ceramics on sale, including containers handcrafted by ceramic potter Margaret Hall, which are suitable for Sogetsu ikebana and other items. These pieces would make wonderful Christmas gifts for loved ones - or perhaps purchase something special for yourself!
