Sandstone Point Hotel open for business
Travellers to and from Bribie Island have watched the development on the mainland side of the bridge of the new Sandstone Point Hotel, which opened recently.

The hotel and bottle shop are back from Bribie Island Road, with vast areas of lawn, new gardens and vacant land around the hotel with an animal farm being developed beside the hotel.

The buildings are modern with plenty of outdoor eating spaces and great views over the Bribie Island Bridge, Pumicestone Passage and the island beyond. The lawned areas are popular with children with plenty of ball sports being played even with nets for those who want to kick a goal!!

Menu details are on the website, with a promise to source as many ingredients, especially seafood from the local area, with their own herb garden as well to supply their restaurants. Certainly they promise to use only premium Australian products!
There are sheltered outdoor areas for those who wish to dine outside, with ample seating inside for those who seek indoor dining.

On November 15th, "The Beach Boys" will be the headline act for the Opening Concert. "The Beach Boys, icons of the Californian sound are bringing high water mark classics to the brand new $30 Million Sandstone Point Hotel at Bribie Island on Sunday 15th November with special guests, Busby Marou, Kim Churchill, Sahara Beck and Good Oak."

Tickets are available now so go to the website to book.
