King Size Comfy Bed Award
When I went away to review the Great Ocean Road Chocolatier, I needed a place to stay and I wanted beachfront views. I grew up on the beach and I love to watch the changing weather and walk the beach with my feet in the water every day I am there.
Well, it is not as easy as you think to find beachfront views. Especially during the school holidays. But I continued down the stunning Great Ocean Road to Lorne, Victoria.

But I lucked out with the wonderful customer service of the Lorne Beachfront Accommodation Service. The placed me in a one-bedroom studio Phoenix apartment with my very own balcony with stunning views of the water. All I had to do was walk out my back door, down the stairs, through the cute courtyard and across the road to the beach. Stunning. It also places you in the middle of the main shopping strip, so everything you could ever need, pharmacy, food, drink, pubs, is just a stroll away.

In the morning, I could sun on my front balcony and in the afternoon, I can soak up the warmth of my back balcony. Two balconies for the price of one.
Private Balcony for sunny mornings
The studio itself is light, bright, modern with full kitchen, modern walk-in shower and full lounge. It gets the GOLDEN most comfortable bed award. And it looks like it was styled by Wendy Moore of House Rules. Classy! Refreshing and relaxing. The artwork was lovely.

Lounge around with a good book
The lounge has a comfy couch, chair and chaise lounge for ready a book in comfort. The TV itself is so big it makes you feel like you are in a small cinema and its high def look makes you feel like you are inside the picture.
Walk in Modern Shower
Next big win with this place, is your own parking spot. This is essential with limited parking around Lorne.
The central heating and cooling unit kicks in very quickly for perfect atmospheric control.
Roomy table for lovely dinners
This place is one item off perfect. It needs a bigger shelf in the bathroom for your makeup and bits and pieces. There is heaps of room and it needs to be double width. My makeup case kept wanting to fall off.
For me, it was a very fair price for the quality, comfort, style and location.
It was a lovely place to stay.
