Light up and be entertained
Sandgate Uniting Church Christmas Lights Festival will be held again this year with the theme 'Christmas Colours'. During this local community event, there will be displays and stalls of Christmas items. Food and drink will also be available.
The Christmas lights switch will be turned 'on' from Thursday the 5th of December and the outside light display will be twinkling and delighting your visual senses from 7pm to 10pm each evening until Christmas Eve, the 24th of December.
Entertainment will be provided free, each evening from Thursday 12th to Monday 23rd of December starting from 7pm. Between the 12th and the 21st of December, some of the entertainment will include performances by; Pine Rivers Brass Band, Celtic Connection Choir ,
Redcliffe Scottish Band, Brisbane Symphonic Band, New Groove Jazz Ensemble, Moreton Bay Symphony Orchestra,
Caboolture Community Choir.
On Sunday the 22nd December, there will be community Christmas Carols and on Christmas Eve, a celebration with Rev Anne Hulbert. A Christmas day service will also be held with Rev Anne Hulbert.
