Event:
Have a great day while learning to build sandcastles
Building sandcastles are fun and entertaining and this activity is not just for children! There are events right around Australia where you can build wonderful statues out of sand.

And now you can try and make the best sandcastles on the beach this summer! Let your imagination run wild and invent something magical while learning all about this interesting art. You can spend hours amusing yourself and even perhaps teaching your children and this could turn into a fun family pastime on those hot summer days.

For this event, you can join master sculptor Dennis (The Sandman) Massoud for a sand sculpting workshop before testing your newly learnt skills. This will be in a fun, family-friendly sand sculpture competition!

The workshop will be on Saturday 19th January 2019, from 9.00 am until 11.00 am. This will then be followed by a family-friendly sand sculpture competition which will start at 9.30 am and go until 10.45 am. Who knows, maybe you could be the winner - winners will be announced at 11.00 am.

This workshop and competition will be held at Blacksmiths Beach, Ungala Road, Blacksmiths.
