Stockton Beach is one of Australia's best coastal beaches for fun and adventure. It also makes up the biggest part of the Worimi Conservation Lands. Stockton beach has a huge indigenous history, as well as a large contemporary Australian past.
The beach is subject to rules under the National Parks and Wildlife Service and as such, a Beach Permit is required to access the beach. To find locations to purchase permits and general beach information see the Worimi Conservation Lands website.
There are a number of tour operators that run commercial operations on the beach. One of the best, provides a cultural experience as well as a great day on Stockton Beack.
Sand Dune Adventures is run by the Worimi Local Aboriginal Land Council. The expert guides are Worimi Aboriginal people and not only do they offer a great and safe day quad biking, but also offer a great cultural experience. To book tours or for further information check out their website on www.sandduneadventures.com.au.
