Now in its 8th year, the Samford and Surrounds Art and Open Studios Trail provides the ultimate weekend escape, where you can lose yourself in the natural beauty of Samford Valley and its surrounds and uncover the region's thriving art scene.
A stone's throw from the CBD, Samford is the perfect day trip from Brisbane and this year's Samford and Surrounds Art and Open Studios Trail will take place in Samford Valley, Samford Village, Yugar, Warner, Cedar Creek, Clear Mountain and Dayboro.
Choose your art adventure each weekend and visit a handful of picturesque and inviting art studios/spaces, pop into some of the region's acclaimed cafes/eateries for morning tea, lunch or afternoon tea, and let the kids have fun at some of the lovely parks.
Many of the Open Studios are not usually open to the public, so this is a unique opportunity to meet artists and artisans, learn about their techniques and what inspires them, and purchase exceptional artwork.
