Salts of the Earth is situated near the High Street end of Glenferrie Road. There is parking close by but some of it is restricted. However the tram stops right in front on Glenferrie Road, and it's only a short walk over the road from High Street.
I've been going to Salt therapy for a long time including Salts of the Earth in Frankston. Salts of the Earth Malvern is part of the same franchise. Their set up is a little different but service always come with a smile.
Salts of the Earth is Halotherapy that has been used in parts of Eastern Europe and Central Asia for thousands of years. It's a 'new' old therapy. It works by pharmaceutical grade salt being put into the air (which is monitored) in a large but enclosed room. By breathing in the salt it can assist in alleviating asthma symptoms, hayfever, allergies and numerous other conditions. It is a complementary therapy. Salt Halotherapy can be used in conjunction with other medical therapies. Some doctors like it, other doctors don't. My doctor and naturopath are two that advocate for its use in healing and managing my asthma.
I very much enjoy the ambience of the rooms in Malvern. They are bright, airy and large. There is ample room to stretch out and enjoy your halotherapy session. Salt therapy works for all ages. I'd highly recommend Salts of the Earth Malvern for their services.
