A Mind-Bending Rollercoaster of WTF Moments

So, you're sitting down to watch Saltburn, and the first thought that pops into your head is, "What the heck is happening?" Trust me; you're not alone in that rollercoaster of confusion. This movie is like a chameleon, disguised as a typical intense one-sided romance, but slowly revealing its true colours as a psychological thriller slow burn. Buckle up, folks, because Saltburn takes you on a wild ride through a twisted plot.

The story kicks off with Felix, a wealthy student, extending an invitation to his less fortunate classmate, Oliver, to crash at his lavish estate. Seems like a simple gesture, right? Well, not so fast. Before you know it, Felix's family is plunged into a series of horrifying events that'll have you questioning everything you thought you knew about this seemingly innocent setup.

The intensity of Saltburn is off the charts, and the cast delivers a jaw-dropping performance. Barry Keoghan, portraying Oliver, gives us a taste of brilliance as the complex Oliver Quick. And let's not forget Jacob Elordi, who nails it as Felix, the rich kid with more than meets the eye.

But fair warning: if you're easily grossed out or offended, this might not be your cup of tea. Saltburn doesn't hold back, and it's not afraid to dive into the deep end of the psychological thriller pool.

Writer-director Emerald Fennell deserves a round of applause for creating a wicked study of social classes with unexpected plot twists. This film keeps you on your toes, making sure you never get too comfortable with what you think is happening.

Now, let's talk about that bathtub scene. Oh boy, it's a mind-bender, a bit weird, and, I must say, permanently etched into my brain. It's a testament to the film's ability to make you question reality and keep you hooked till the very end.

And let's not forget the little details that make Saltburn stand out. The use of music, especially the legendary MGMT track, sets the scene perfectly, immersing you in the vibe of its decade.

So, if you're ready for a movie that challenges your perceptions, makes you gasp, and leaves you questioning your sanity, Saltburn is your ticket. Just be prepared for a cinematic experience that'll linger in your mind long after the credits roll.
