Fabulous cafe with surprising extras
Salt Meats Cheese is the new kid on the block on Victoria Road, Drummoyne. Located inside the latest addition to the Harris Farm Markets business, Salt Meats Cheese has quickly established itself among the dining crowd. The café and Harris Farm Markets have only been opened for one month.

My companions and I arrived 8:30 am for breakfast and the café was already doing a roaring trade. My companions chose the Nutella Muffins and hot chocolates. I chose the "healthier" option (hah) of creamy Banoffee Pie for brekky. It looked too enticing to turn down. I also ordered a freshly squeezed orange juice.

While we waited for our orders, we wandered around the café. There is a charcuterie where large and small delicatessen meats hung in a cool room.

Nearby was an area for wood-fired pizzas.

There was also a gelato wagon. I was astounded at the variety of foods in this café.

It didn't take long for our orders to arrive. The orange juice was refreshing and my companions said the hot chocolates were nice.

The Nutella Muffins were fresh but the only sign of nutella was a large dab on the top of the muffin. We thought the nutella would be mixed into the muffins. My companions did eat all the muffins and commented that they were tasty, nonetheless.

The standout was the Banoffee Pie. With its creamy layers concealing tasty banana on a lovely pie base, everyone had their spoons ready to pounce. Salt Meats Cheese is a café not to miss on your next outing.

After we finished eating, we strolled through Harris Farm Markets. This store is huge. It has a butcher within its store, a bakery, seafood store, many varieties of chocolates and ice creams, fruit and vegetables, plus a lot of the Harris Farm staples but in larger varieties. It was impressive.
