The Salsa dancing at the Gov will be a great fun night
Latin Dance is an exciting dance style and has a long and complicated history. The vast majority of Latin dances have three distinct influences: native influence, upper-class European influence, and African influence. It dates back to at least the 15th century, which is when indigenous dances were first documented by European explorers. The actual roots of Latin dance are both deep and far-reaching.
There will be 10-day workshops for all levels from absolute beginners to advanced. This will be from 11:30 am till 4:30 pm. The full dance workshop schedule will be coming soon.
These workshops will be amazing so do not miss the action-packed Salsa Expo Party from 7:30 pm to 2:00 am
Here you can dance till you drop and enjoy non-stop exciting Latin entertainment. There will be the following:
Live Latin Band: Ah Hum with a fiery mix of Salsa, Mambo, Descargas and Cha Cha Cha.
Finals of Adelaide's best Social Dancers Competition - these include Zouk, Samba, Bachata, Salsa and you will also be able to win some great prizes here.
Latin Floor Shows Galore will be from hot students and pro demonstrations from Adelaide's finest Latin dance studios performing a variety of dance styles. These styles include Bachata, Salsa, Afro, Samba, Rueda, Kizomba, Mambo, Ladies Styling and Zouk.
