The Brisbane Portrait Prize Salon des Refusès art exhibition returns to the Petrie Terrace Gallery this October.

The Brisbane Portrait Prize is all about celebrating Brisbane portrait artists and their sitters, while encouraging public engagement with the arts.

The 2022 exhibition runs from the 6 October to 7 November 2022 and showcases portraits which were not included as finalists for the Brisbane Portrait Prize.

The gallery is open from 10.00am to 3.30 pm Tuesday through to Sunday.

Entry is FREE except for the ticketed events below:

  • Opening Night - Friday 7th October 7pm - SOLD OUT

    Featuring live music, gourmet canapes and prize presentations.

  • Wine and Cheese Afternoons - Saturday 15th October and Saturday 29th October 2pm

    Artist talks and more. Nibbles provided and your first drink free.
