The Salisbury Library provides free membership to South Australian residents who need to show proof of name, residential address and a signature. Once a member, you can borrow from the library collection, access public PCs and some online resources. A large variety of magazines, games, CDs, DVDs, books, audiobooks and toys are available to borrow.

On Wednesday 5th May 2021 from 10.30 to 11.30am and as part of the History Festival, Jeff Pinney from the National Military Vehicles Museum will be giving a talk at the library featuring Salisbury's Nuclear History. The talk will highlight Salisbury's involvement in specific nuclear bomb detonation sites, detonation of bombs and the information and logistics associated with these events. This will be a terrific event for any history buff or military enthusiast. Also, during the History Festival, Salisbury Community Hub will be hosting a FREE exhibition to compliment Jeff's talk.

As there are limited spaces for this event, you need to book by telephoning 08 8406 8207. Be early to avoid disappointment.
