Do you podcast, blog or just love to write
I still remember the moment, only a few short years ago, when I realised that I could write. Even better, I realised that I could write things that people wanted to read. Writing is my happy place, my outlet for my creativity, the place where I share and give just a tiny piece of me.
If this sounds like you, if you think you would like to write, then the Salisbury Writers' Festival is a great opportunity to find your platform and outlet. Whether you want to write to record your family history, your life story, entertain your kids or grandkids or blog on the internet, this festival has something for you.
Held over 2 amazing days, the Salisbury Writers' Festival enables you to buy a day pass or a ticket for the entire weekend.
This is your opportunity to join authors, podcasters, memoirists and creatives of every type and listen to how they achieved success, who helped them, where they find inspiration and more importantly how you can reach others with your words.
Tickets are $80 full price and $70 concession for both days, $60 full price and $50 concession for Saturday 24 August and $40 full price and $30 concession for Sunday 25 August 2019.
You can also register for an Intensive Workshop with Jane Turner Goldsmith on Saturday 24 August 2019 from 11 am to 3.30 pm. This workshop is aimed at emerging writers and will outline and explore the three-act structure with time for reading, writing, discussion and sharing of ideas and writing. Cost is $60 concession and $80 full price.
Come for a day or come for the weekend, but if you are a budding writer or even thinking about writing this is a great opportunity to explore.
