Brought to you by Fruitbowl Productions, JVC and Australian Japan Society of Victoria, the 2019 Sakura Picnic Day is one for the whole family to enjoy. BYO picnic or sample Japanese food from vendors who will be onsite. Japanese tea, sweets and crafts will also be available to buy. Poke Time comes to mind with their unique twist on the Poke scene. Miss Molly will not have her dolly, but she'll be bringing scrumptious cakes for you to enjoy.

Entry to this event is by gold coin donation on Sunday 13 October 2019 from 11am to 2pm at Banksia Park, off Templestowe Rd (next to Heidi Museum), Bulleen. Bring family and friends to celebrate spring and recognise the multicultural face of Melbourne. Enjoy all things Japanese, including cultural performances, traditional tea ceremony, martial arts demo and activities for the young 'uns amongst a mature cherry grove which was originally donated to Victoria by the Government of Japan, so there's' a whole lot of history there to enjoy.
