Ingrid I love living in brisbane and experience all it has to offer. I moved here from the hunter valley in nsw. I have just started a blog called pooch-professor.com. Enjoy.

I went to Sake to celebrate a birthday. I was very impressed with the restaurant from the time we walked in the door, to the time we left.

After we were seated and given the menu I asked about gluten free options. The waitperson who seated us said the kitchen staff could change anything on the menu to be gluten free or be given an alternate version. There were four of us and we ordered the banquet menu signature dishes at $88pp.

As each dish came out, the waitstaff told us exactly what we were eating and also made sure they told me if the dish was different and what I was eating.

Each time our drinks glass was getting low, the staff came in and topped it up. After many dishes, glasses of mineral water and sake, our bill came to $400, which in my mind was a bargain.

You can view the complete menu here.
