After reading about this place called Saint Lucia featuring food inspired by Cuban, Caribbean and South American dishes I was keen to check it out & I'm so glad I did. The tropical island vibe gives a relaxed feel, making this Chapel Street bar / restaurant the perfect place to chill after a couple of hours shopping.

The dishes are designed to share and I will definitely be back with some friends to show off this new little gem I have found and try more from the delish menu. So far I have tried the jerk chicken, bbq corn with lime mayo & toasted coconut & the mac 'n' cheese donuts with chilli cheese dipping sauce. Yes you heard me guys, mac 'n' cheese donuts with chilli cheese dipping sauce! A new concept but a good one. Give these babies a try and wash it down with a pitcher of Aphrodite which contains passionfruit, mint, lime, ginger beer and two rums, including St Lucia Distillers Chairman's Reserve Spiced as you settle in for a relaxed arvo. You can catch some sun either on a table out the front or in the funky courtyard out the back.

The Sunday special is a good one - $20 'Big Jerk' Meal: 1/2 Jerk Chicken, Any Side and a Red Stripe. Also on offer is $15 Red Stripe Jugs all night. Yes paleeeeease!
