Warm up your winter at Saint Lucia
If you haven't yet popped into Windsor's Caribbean restauarant and rum bar, Saint Lucia, now you have a brand new reason to visit.
The Chapel Street hotspot has recently launched a brand new menu with plenty of delicious items inspired by the Caribbean, Cuba and Southern America.
This little slice of paradise is the perfect spot to chase away the winter blues with a menu unlike anything you'll find in Melbourne. The newest and latest Instagram favourite is the Kokomo Kone (pictured). A 'sunset' waffle cone filled with jerk BBQ chicken, slaw, charred corn, lime may, candied scotch bonnet and toasted coconut.

A perfect spot for a date night or get together with friends, Saint Lucia's modern Caribbean twist and eclectic interiors make you feel all warm and fuzzy for the right reasons (the delicious cocktails also help!)
We also tried another popular favourite, the chorizo and goat's cheese cigars with piquillo pepper sauce, is definately a crowd pleaser.

Other new menu stand-outs include the mac 'n' cheese mini doughnuts with chilli cheese dipping sauce. We've got our eyes firmly planted on those for our next visit.
The menu is designed to share, so it's easy to try a little bit of everything. There's also a solid drinks menu to choose from including a traditional and tropical cocktail list as well as a rum list including everything from white to dark and spiced rum too hailing from places such as Jamaica, Mauritius, St Lucia, India, France, Haiti and Trinidad. There's also a variety of mocktails and a solid wine list to boot.
The service is friendly and it's a fabulous place to come in from the winter weather and enjoy a little taste of the tropics.
