Adelaide's newest and most exciting building is open for business.

We've been watching it grow - some love it, some hate it. Personally I love it and, in my opinion, it'll be one of Australia's most photographed buildings in years to come.
It's more than just a pretty face though. The
SAHMRI (South Australian Health and Medical Research Institute) exists to:
These researchers will have the latest technology and equipment in world class state-of-the-art laboratories
Engage and excite the future generation of scientists with education programs

If you think the outside of the building is spectacular, the inside is breathtaking and it's now open to the public for
tours every Friday till the end of 2014. You can book online and it's completely free (although gold coin donations to medical research are gratefully received - there is a donation box in the main foyer area).
The tours run at
11am and 1pm each Friday and last approximately one hour. The tour is suitable for everyone - individuals, community groups and schools are most welcome.
Tour highlights include views of SAHMRI's state of the art laboratories, open plan floors, atrium café, plaza area and spiral staircase. There will also be an opportunity to hear directly from one of their leading researchers.
