The artwork is so fine and requires considerable concentration which they seem to be able to maintain in the midst of chaos they work steadily and serenely. On Sunday 18th August, after spending 5 days creating the beautiful mandala, they will destroy it.
I read on the Dandenong Plaza website that they also run morning meditations that you can attend for free at 9.30am each morning..
From Dandenong they are moving the event to Karingal Centro shopping centre in Frankston, to repeat the whole thing again. The tour has been running since April and will continue until 29th September, the full Itinerary can be found here.
Booking - not necessary, they are just inside the shopping centre near the McCrae entrance near the bus stops.
Getting there - The Dandenong Station is about a 10 minute walk away, and if that appears too daunting you can catch a bus at the station, which will just drop you outside the Plaza.
Parking - The Dandenong Plaza has plenty of parking that is easy to access.
Disabled Access friendly - Inside:- the surface is smooth and easy to navigate Outside:- there are several entrances to the shopping centre most of which allow easy disabled access.
