SA Variety Bash 2018 – Start Line: Adelaide to Port Lincoln


2018 marks the 30th year of SA Variety Bash and to celebrate, Bash entrants will depart Adelaide from the start line at Victoria Park Racecourse on Saturday, 11 August 2018, from 7am, following the route of the first ever SA Variety Bash in 1989.

Head down to the start line to farewell this year's Bash teams on their epic 2,420km journey from Adelaide to Port Lincoln. Entry for spectators is free, with giveaways for kids and coffee and doughnuts available for purchase.



SA Variety Bash entrants are well known for putting the fun in fundraising by unleashing their creativity on their cars and team costumes. Backing them up are communications teams, support crews, medical teams, mobile workshops, planes, photographers and some incredibly generous sponsors.

Funds raised enable Variety SA to provide grants, sponsorship and events to disadvantaged children and their families and communities. SA Variety Bash awards funds to many recipients whilst en route, resulting in smiles all-round. You can support Variety SA by donating online here.
