SA Spring Garden Festival – Mt Pleasant



The Mt Pleasant annual Spring Garden Festival will be held on Saturday, 24th September 2022 from 8.00am to 3.00pm. The community of Mt Pleasant has come up with an exciting program for the day for both the young and old. A special program will include their guest speaker, Kim Syrus of SA Gardening Guru. Kim is known as presenter on the television shows 'Outdoors Indoors', 'Gardening Gurus' and 'In the Garden'. Other speakers will be Mark Henley from the Rare Fruit Society of SA who will be talking about edible native plants and Sara Mitchel from The Diggers Club.

There will also be a range of workshops including a flower crown workshop, beekeeping experiences and free nature craft activities for the kids. There will also be yummy food and beverages for sale.

Admission to the Festival is $5 for adult, $3 for pensioners, and free for children under 15. The location is at Melrose Street, Mount Pleasant. For more details on the event, visit their website .
