The SA Firefighters 'Hall of Flame' Calendar launch night kicked off at The Adelaide Showgrounds on July 12th to help raise money for The World Police and Fire Games and for the Burns unit at 'The Woman's and Children's Hospital'. Every two years the South Australian Metropolitan Fire Service produce the 'Hall of Flame' calendar, featuring 24 months of SA's finest firefighters in action. Ladies wait for this event, because not only is it a fantastic show, but the audience is encouraged to get involved and vote for the firefighter with 'The Best Body', 'The Best Smile' and 'Mr/Miss Hall of Flame'.

The launch night gives guests a chance to view these firefighters in a stage show of choreographed routines and 2016 is the first year women have been included in the calendar. Two firefighting women represent March (Catherine) and November (Carly). Each firefighter took to the stage with a different costume and routine, some featuring more than one change. Mr January (Brock) was first, taking to the stage in a sumo outfit with 'too sexy' written on the bum. When he stripped off to a hip-hop outfit with a routine to match, the ladies of the crowd couldn't get enough.

Mr February, Scott, thought he was Mickey Mouse with a routine to 'Hey Mickey' by Toni Basil. When he stripped off from Mickey, underneath was another heart-throb; he was now Danny Zuko as he showed the crowd the dance of 'Grease Lighting'.

Catherine was Miss March. Not only is she a strong female representative in the South Australian Metropolitan Fire Service, but she also had a hidden talent. Before joining she was in the circus so she wowed the audience with a silk aerial routine that was just beautiful to watch. She received a standing ovation from the crowd and she really deserved it.

Mr April Brad had some hip hop moves that looked like he was born to dance. He moonwalked along the stage and flipped his body into crazy positions that he made look easy. He was inspired by Justin Bieber and 50 Cent as he asked the ladies of the audience to take him to the candy shop. One lucky lady on table 92 walked away with a pre-licked lollypop.

Mr May, Nick, took sexy fireman to the next level stripping down and doing pushups on the stage. He took off his belt and whipped it around his body. His dance moves would put Justin Timberlake to shame.

Mr June, Gavin, had an advantage because he has been in the calendar before, however he was worried because he's older now. However, Gavin was proved wrong when he won 'Best Body'. His routine was inspired by Beyonce having impersonated her 'Single Ladies' dance routine perfectly.

Nick, Mr July, was 'Mr Hall of Flame', he drove the ladies of the audience crazy with his hip hop routine that put strippers to shame. His performance started as an old man with a walking stick and ended in push ups and floor work, before grabbing a chair for a chair inspired routine.

Nobu was Mr August. In his spare time he competes in Body Building competitions and used this to his advantage on the stage. Strutting his stuff and showing off his poses, he also wanted the ladies of the audience to know that he's single.

Mr September, Matt , was a crowd favourite presenting dances from generation Y with the 'Whip Nay Nay' and 'Party Rock Anthem'.

Mr October Paul was an inspiration, He was in the calendar years ago and wanted to do it again. He was previously hit by a car and broke his leg in five places. He was told he couldn't return to work for a year and he used the calendar as inspiration and went back to work in six months. He now lives every day like it's his last. His song, Titanium, suited him perfectly because he was bulletproof when he pushed himself to get better.

Miss November, Carly, wanted to prove that girls are in charge with her songs 'Run the World' and 'Roar'. She danced her way down the catwalk starting in a fire service uniform and ended in a fire service inspired crop top and skirt. She thought to herself why not get involved and be the first woman in the calendar and so she did.

Mr December, Ryan, was this year's 'Best Smile'. He kept the ladies of the audience screaming with his Backstreet Boys inspired routine to 'I Want it That Way'. He brought the show to close with 'S Club Party' where he danced till the end.

The show ended with all 12 firefighters on the stage where they tallied the audiences votes for 'Best Smile' - Ryan, Mr December, 'Best Body' - Gavin, Mr June and 'Mr Hall of Flame' - Nick, Mr July. The night continued at the after party at The Rob Roy Hotel where the ladies of the audience met their favourite firefighter.
