Have a geat day out whilst supporting SA Dog Rescue
With Christmas and the end of the year fast approaching, it's time to get into party mode and have some fun with the whole family, including your four-legged family members. This you can do in style at the SA Dog Rescue 2015 Christmas Fair, a free public event, which will be held at Bonython Park, Port Road (opposite Coca Cola) on Sunday 8th November from 10.00 am to 4.00 pm.
This year's fair promises to be the biggest yet with over 50 stalls selling food, beverages and gifts (a good opportunity to start your Christmas shopping if you haven't already done so). A barbeque will cater for both vegans and meat-eaters and there will be plenty of tables and chairs available for patrons, offering them a chance to sit and relax whilst enjoying a tasty bite to eat and a choice of beverages to wash it down.

SA Dog Rescue merchandise, available for purchase, will include their 2016 Calendar, coffee mugs, tote bags, baseball caps, beanies, key rings and bandannas. Tickets for their Christmas Stocking Raffle, worth in excess of $3000, can be purchased at the Fair. The raffle will be drawn on 15th December.
Other stalls will be showcasing a variety of gifts and home-wares, local produce, boutique pet products and homemade goods. A number of charities will be represented at the fair, including Oscar's Law, Animals Australia and Sea Shepherd Adelaide, to name a few.
All proceeds from the day will go to the rehabilitation and re-homing of dogs like these.
People are most welcome to bring their own dogs along for the day. Discounted micro-chipping will be available and Jim's Dog Wash will be on hand to pamper your pooch with a wash and a groom. Petstar Photography will photograph your dog for you or you can arrange for a beautiful painting from Portraits by Kylie. You can also spoil your pet with some of the tempting treats, toys and special canine products which will be on offer from Tails Pet Centre, Furberry and a number of other stalls.
If you are looking for a new pet you will have the opportunity to meet a variety of SA Dog Rescue's dogs and cats, available for adoption.
Cats like this one are rescued and re-homed by SA Dog Rescue.
The children in your family will thoroughly enjoy this day out too, with Clancy the Jellybean Train, a Bouncy Castle and a Side-Show Alley. They can have their faces painted, meet the animals in the Petting Zoo and have a lot of fun playing a variety of games.
SA Dog Rescue is a registered not-for-profit organisation, supported by volunteers in South Australia. They are dedicated to saving pets from euthanasia and finding each of them a new home where they can live the life they deserve. 100% of all donations and money raised goes towards rescuing and saving the lives of unwanted and abandoned pets. More information about SADR can be found on their web site or from their Facebook page.
