On 26 January 2017, the Mornington Peninsula Shire will celebrate Australia Day with a bang on the Rye Foreshore. The festivities will commence at 12:30pm and culminate at 9:15pm.

The impressive programme itinerary will woo both young and old. The day will begin with a free community sausage sizzle at 12:30pm followed by a circus show at 1pm. At 2pm visitors will be entertained by the music industry local showcase. An amazing performance by the coveted band Andy Phillips and Cadillac Walk will be hosted at 3pm. A remarkable indigenous hip-hop performance will take to the stage at 4pm. The official proceedings will be held at 5:30pm.

You will get the chance to win enticing prizes at the Lions Club Annual Boat Raffle Draw at 6:30pm. The main stage will be pumping with live entertainment throughout the evening.

The events will draw a curtain with a fabulous fireworks display at 9:15pm (subject to weather conditions).
