Good Pub Food
Tucked away from the noisy bustling Top Ryde Shopping Centre is the Ryde Royal Hotel. While some hotels are attempting to modernise, the Ryde Royal Hotel has an old style charm about it. In winter, the warmth of the restaurant and bar area beckon. It's not a noisy pub but a welcoming pub.
There is an indoor and an outdoor seating area which welcomes families, friends and groups. When I was there, a local rugby team arrived all 'pumped' after their win. They were talking animately, slapping each other on the back, grinning while they ordered their beer and perused the menu.

The food at the Ryde Royal is good. My partner tucked into the Curry of the Day, Beef Madras, which was accompanied with Tumeric Rice, Naan bread and a Pappadam.
I had a very tasty Chorizo Pasta Ragu with Sicilian Napoli Sauce. Both dishes were superb particularly on a cold winter night.
I have been to the Ryde Royal several times and have always found the service marvellous. This is a pub to go to and just relax away from the crowds and street noise outside.
