You will 'live' on board the yacht for the duration of the course while sailing around the sheltered waters of Moreton Bay. Pure bliss! Previous experience required: NONE! Just a passion for the outdoors, water and fun.

learning the ropes
The Details Duration: 3 x weekends (weekends do not need to be consecutive) or 5 day (Monday to Friday)
Course content: There is lots that you will see, do and learn. By day you will sail around and visit different harbours and anchorages, and by night you will enjoy the beauty of the sea on board (anchored).
'accommodation with a view'
Some of the skills that you will come away with include: learn how to set the sails, steer the yacht, and live aboard a yacht whilst cruising, the use of all safety equipment on board a yacht, the rules of the road, manners and customs, and how the weather effects the planning of a sailing trip, navigation, "man overboard" drills (not with real people thank goodness!), right through to cooking and cleaning in the gallery (men and women!)

These yachts are comfortably fitted and you will be hosted by a highly experienced and qualified Instructor.
This is a fun, and different thing to try.

At the end you will breeze away with the Royal Yachting Association 'Competent Crew course completion certificate.' Which, essentially means, The World is your Oyster! Literally
