Climb, dodge, slam and clip in
When asked if I was jumping, I thought why not? In retrospect it was an impetuous decision and I could have put more thought into it. It had not been on my agenda and now I am suffering the consequences. Mental note to myself: I am middle-aged and old enough to be a nana and you don't see many grannies trampolining.

In my defence they would give non-slip socks to a pregnant lady, a baby or someone in a wheelchair so why didn't they give them to me? So disappointing because at first I felt like a flying bird and as young as a reckless teenager. I thought I'd be able to rack up a few thousand steps on the Fitbit. In actuality I quickly discovered the hard way that my career as a bouncer is well and truly over! Ladies you will know what I mean even if a just hint at one seven letter word starting with 'b'.

But it's not all bad. The kids are having a ball working up a sweat and they are sure to sleep well tonight. Rush HQ is a kid's paradise with multiple safe bouncing spaces and irresistible climbing areas. It's a bit like the new franchise called Bounce but I think it's more child-friendly.

The spaces include: Mt Madness where you can scale the mountain against the clock! This is Australia's first and only highball bouldering wall with foam pit underneath.

The Jump Factory is for freestylers. The friendly crew at Rush HQ is available on weekends to demonstrate champion skills and invite you to take the vertical wall run challenge. If you're more into basketball, try the Jump and Slam. There are four lanes of slam-dunking fun. Press the buzzer to start the clock and make every second count!

The Gauntlet is a whole other level of challenge. Clip into a harness and walk the suspended challenges above the ground. Note this is not open during weekdays.

There is also a Dodge Ball trampoline space and a space for juniors to climb and jump across a world of inflatables. It includes slides and ball pit!

Designed for kids to have loads of active fun, Rush HQ also has a cafe for parents to sit and relax in. The Cafe offers a range of sweet and savoury options and drinks. I note that this is not a viewing area, so parents of younger children would need to be in the bouncing spaces.

No food or drink is allowed onto the premises. The exception is birthday cakes for Birthday Party bookings and water bottles.

This is an inexpensive indoor fun activity. Day passes are now available for only $15 on weekends and $12 on weekdays. There are giveaways everyday, including FREE SESSION passes can be won. $15 Two Hour Pass on School Holidays!

Rush HQ conduct awesome parties for only $31 per head. Packages include:
90 minutes of adrenaline pumping fun
- 1 hour in the Challenge Arena
- 30 minutes in a party room
