specialises in traditional Italian style Cuisine, especially Ruocco's famous pizzas which have been a firm favourite in the Fremantle area for many years. This is a great restaurant for your next special occasion or for a casual, relaxing meal with family or friends. Although you can get pizza from plenty of other places, you will not get the unique dining experience and the delectable cuisine that is only available at this pièce de résistance.

is a favourite of locals and visitors alike. People come from miles around to sample the tastes of Italy. The menu is quite extensive, featuring many mouth-watering pasta, pizza, chicken, steak and fish dishes. With plenty of side dishes and salads and lots of desserts to choose from too, also a children's menu, so you will have no trouble finding a favourite. Ruocco's is fully licenced so you can choose a glass of wine or a cocktail from the wine list or BYO if you prefer.

Tantalize your taste buds with an entrée to start your evening; tasty Garlic Bread at $4.50, delicious Minestrone Soup at $9.50, or the ever popular Sizzling Garlic Prawns at $15.50 for a small serving or $23.50 for a large serving. For your main meal, and there are so many to choose from it is quite difficult to pick just one, try the Pollo Saltimbocca at $26.50; chicken breast topped with prosciutto and mozzarella cheese or the Fettuccini Primavera at $19.50; fettuccini with chicken, bacon, snow peas and mushrooms in a creamy sauce. As a final touch to your meal try the tiramisu or a slice of lemon/lime tart for desert - it is always delicious.

The pizzas have always been fantastic at Ruocco's. The dough is made fresh daily and the pizzas are cooked to perfection in wood fired ovens. Choose your favourite fresh toppings and add them to the tomato sauce and mozzarella cheese base. The pizza menu has many options including the Ruocco's Special with salami, bacon, ham, mushrooms and olives at $18.50, Margherita with cheese and tomato at $10.00 or the Quattro Stagioni with ham, bacon, salami and anchovies at $18.50.

also has freshly made pasta available to purchase, so you can take it and cook it in your own home for a fresh Italian meal whenever you like. Call the restaurant for more details or to place an order.

The staff are always very friendly and helpful. They are usually run off their feet as the place is so popular and busy, so you should expect to wait a little while. However they work fast and efficiently, so your wait is never too long, and the ambience is delightful, so this is truly an experience that is worth the short wait.

is usually packed, especially on Friday and Saturday nights, so it's a good idea to book in advance and as this restaurant is always busy, it can get pretty noisy. However there is an eating area outside as well, so when you are there, if you can, choose to eat outside. The noise levels dip and you are treated to the visions of a cosmopolitan Fremantle landscape on a balmy evening. As the sights and sounds of the world go by, you can relax and enjoy yourself knowing that good food, good drink and great company are only a moment away.
