Run, Walk or Wheel for Remembrance 2020
Sat 07 Nov 2020 - Sun 08 Nov 2020 Remembrance Day
is observed on 11th November each year and is the tradition inaugurated by King George V to remember members of the armed forces who had died in the line of duty. Although it is day in which all Commonwealth countries partake, many non-Commonwealth countries also mark this as a day of memory.
In the lead of this year's Remembrance Day, the Rotary Club of Carindale
are inviting you, your friends and family to group together for a Run, Walk or Wheel Event
on 7th and 8th November 2020 in support of the Gallipoli Medical Research Foundation (GMRF). GMRF focuses on veteran mental health, liver disease, liver cancer and respiratory illnesses while striving to discover innovative solutions to major health problems.
The Run, Walk or Wheel Event
is for all ages; all you require to do is complete the registration here
as an individual or a team. You will receive an Event Bib to personalise with the name of your team or yourself and a Certificate of Participation post-event.
Once you have registered, you can join the community on Facebook

You do not have to finish the whole amount of distance in one go - you can do it over the weekend if you prefer. The mobile app, Strava
