Register for the Run MND Sutherland Shire fundraiser today. This 5km or 10km run or walk is on again at Don Lucas Reserve in Cronulla on Sunday 26 May. Help raise funds for much-needed research into this debilitating disease. Once you register, organise all your friends and family to sponsor you because every dollar counts.
By registering, your funds will benefit the MND NSW centre. They organise care for people living with this disease. The MNDRIA is the research arm of this charitable organisation. The more funds raised, the more Motor Neurone Disease sufferers will benefit.
The route is a 5km loop and is part paved pathways and part beach. You choose how you want to walk or run the 5 or 10 kilometres. Complete one loop and you have done 5kms. To register and donate, click on the ticket icon here.
Once you complete the route, stay around to support other runners and walkers. When everyone has completed, a group photo will be taken of all participants and supporters. It is a fun day for everyone so be sure to bring the kids along. Old Joe's at Northies Cronulla Hotel is offering a free drink for participants buying lunch. Also, kids eat FREE.
So, register and come along. You will support a worthy cause and keep fit at the same time.
If you are interested in more information, visit the Run MND NSWwebsite. Or you can contact the organiser, Sophy Townsend on 0432 367 320.
