I write for Weekend Notes and I take photographs, usually sunsets and sunrises. Occasionally I include my photos in my articles. I like to promote Geelong, and activities around Geelong.

Other Run Australia events have been held (or are yet to be held) in Ballarat, Woollongong, Newcastle, Townsville and Sunshine Coast.

To get involved in the run, you can log on to the Run Australia website and register as an individual or as a family. Your registration fee will help Run Australia and the Cotton On Foundation to provide the best possible health care for young Aussies in regional Australia.

The Special Care Nursery at Geelong Hospital is currently moving to a temporary home within the hospital (the old Intensive Care Unit) so that builders can start building the new Special Care Nursery. Fund raising by Bay FM Geelong, KRock Geelong and Run Geelong and other organisations have all assisted in the dream to create a new Special Care Nursery at Geelong Hospital.

Run Australia and the Cotton On Foundation are working towards improving the health of young people in regional Australia. By partnering with communities where there is a need for better health facilities for young people, the Cotton On Foundation is able to run a fun event that raises money for a local health related project.

Run Australia is held in regional centres. The community events are for local people of all abilities, and the outcome of the event is to raise money for local projects.
